David Rawlinson FCA, FCCA

David trained with a local firm in Stevenage, qualifying in 1974. From 1975 to 1978, David worked for Ernst & Young supervising various large corporate audits. In 1978, David joined the firm and became a partner in 1980.
David's area of expertise includes the auditing of large corporate and solicitor clients together with advising on all areas of corporate finance. He is a member of The Rotary Club of Bedford Park, and is on the council of the Bedford Educational Association. David is a county tennis player and regularly plays in tournaments all over the country.

 

Geoff Pryde FCA,FCCA

Geoff has over 35 years experience within the accountancy profession. He trained with a national firm in St.Albans, and qualified in 1974. He came to Bedford in 1977 and has been a partner with the firm since 1980.

Geoff services client requirements within a broad range of business sectors including the audit of foreign owned companies and the finances of family owned businesses. Geoff has a keen interest in the farming community and advises on that area.

Geoff has held many honorary appointments including helping local charities, especially those linked with housing and dyslexia, his interests include sailing, badminton and golf.

Geoff is also a former member of the Institute of Chartered Accounts of England & Wales’ Practice Advisory Board.

 

Nathan J Tinkler FCCA

Nathan joined Rawlinson Pryde in 1999 and qualified as a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in 2003. He was promoted to manager in the same year, and became partner in 2009.

Nathan manages a wide portfolio of clients, including sole traders, partnerships, owner managed and foreign owned companies and charities. He provides an extensive range of services, including business advice, accounts preparation, personal and corporate taxation and audit. He specialises in providing advice and assistance to owner managed businesses.

Out of the office, Nathan is a keen footballer and an all round sports enthusiast.

 

Tracey Smith FCCA

Tracey began her training in 1986 in a local practice before joining the firm in 1988. She qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 1994 and obtained her Practising Certificate and Audit Qualification in October 2000. For six years Tracey undertook the role of the firm’s Training Manager, supervising the development of the firm’s trainees. On 1st April 2009 she was appointed a Limited Partner within the firm.

Tracey manages a broad portfolio of clients, including sole traders, partnerships and family owned companies as well as foreign groups of companies. Audit, accounts preparation, personal and corporate taxation are amongst the range of services provided.

Tracey has served on the committee of The Bedfordshire Businesswomen’s Club and in 2001 was awarded runner up prize in The Bedfordshire Businesswoman of the Year awards within the “existing business” category. Her interests include reading, the theatre and cinema.

 

Renu Samant BA(Hons), FCCA

With over ten years post qualification experience Renu enjoys working with a wide range of clients, especially advising owner managers on business planning, budgeting and business development.

Currently managing a wide-ranging portfolio of clients providing accountancy, audit and consultancy services, Renu has extensive experience of working with small and medium enterprises as well as expertise in auditing large groups of companies and related technical challenges.

Renu qualified with MacIntyre Hudson and soon after joined Greshams, a small independent chartered firm in Wellingborough. Here Renu was responsible for

running and managing the provision of all business services (including audit, accounts, company secretarial duties and the implementation of Sage accounting systems) for a portfolio of clients. Renu also has experience in specialist audits for professional practices and pension schemes. After the merger of that firm in July of 2005 Renu went to work at Grant Thornton and subsequently joined Rawlinson Pryde and Partners in 2006.

Away from work Renu enjoys travelling, reading, the theatre and being a mum.
